His House Children’s Home also has an International Program providing residential care and case management to Unaccompanied Children (UC) from Central America and other countries of the world. His House International has served close to 5,000 children in this program since it was established in 2008.
Aside from teaching FLL Team 32626, "The Mini Mighty Mechanical Mustangs", we also did projects every week. We tie-dyed shirts, built bottle rockets, made pipe cleaner towers and bridges, had a water balloon fight, went to the water park at TY Park and Legoland!
His House Children’s Home is a foster home located in Miami Dade of an estimate of 250-300 children. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring joy to the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age. His House Children’s Home offers safe and caring homes to abandoned, abused and neglected children in South Florida. Over the past three decades, His House Children’s Home restored lives of joy more than 14,000 kids.
This summer, M3 dedicated their time to transfer their knowledge and passion for robotics to under privileged children. We decided to open a FIRST Lego League Team, to give them an extraordinary opportunity to inspire them for the future. The classes that began over summer taught the kids at His House how to design, construct and operate robots.
